Lesson AND Test | A+ Driving School

A+ CAN YOU TAKE YOU TO THE DRIVING TEST.

• Fill out the form, and we will schedule your driving test and your 3rd BTW lesson. Depending on your eligibility, we will schedule the first available appointment. You will receive an EMAIL once it is scheduled.
***PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THE DMV HAS CHANGED THEIR SCHEDULING PARAMETERS AND ROAD TESTS ARE VERY HARD TO FIND***

• THE LESSON WILL BE DURING THE DAY. It will be at either the Arden Hills or Plymouth testing facility.

• This 3 hour lesson will include 2 hours of practice and 1 hour for the driving test. The driving test will be administered by a DMV Testing Evaluator.

• You will take your behind the wheel road test using the A+ car. All you need for this lesson is your permit and driving log.

• If you pass your road test, you will receive a “Passing Receipt.” You and your parent can then go to any license bureau, present your “Passing Receipt,” get your picture taken, fill out the paperwork, pay the license fee, and get a legal drivers license.

• You can do this during the school day. This is an excused absence from most schools. You will need to pickup and drop off at a local high school parking lot.

• In an effort to maximize our practice time before the test, students that live outside the metro will need to meet us for this appointment.
•• For Rockford and Westonka students: Pickup and dropoff is from Wayzata High School.
•• For Rush City and North Branch students: Pickup and dropoff is from Forest Lake High School.

• This test option is an additional $115.

• There is a $20 fee to cancel this appointment.

Lesson and test appointments are difficult to schedule do to the DMV requirements. We need to find a date and time the DMV has open AND when we have an instructor available. You may be able to find a sooner test date on your own by looking out-state. We currently have a waiting list but will do our best to find you the first available opening.*

• You will need a COMPLETED Driving Log for this test appointment. Make sure it is PRINTED, filled out completely, and signed by a parent. If you are using the mobile app Driving Log, this STILL needs to be PRINTED.
• A+ Driving School is not responsible for any missed appointment fee charged by the DMV.
